How do I become a member of the Redfield Saddle Club?
Membership dues for the Redfield Saddle Club are $20.00 for either a Family Membership or a Single Membership if paid before or on the date of our first Fun Show in May each year. After May, the dues increase to $25.00. You can become a member by applying and paying dues in person at the shows, or by sending a completed membership form and a check made payable to REDFIELD SADDLE CLUB and mailing them to PO. Box 92, Adel, Iowa 50003. Please note: In order to qualify for year-end awards or to participate in the Junior Queen or Senior Queen Selection, membership into the Redfield Saddle Club must be paid before the date of our first fun show in May. Membership after the first Fun Show in May still allows for reduced show entry fees. For a membership application please visit our website at www.redfieldsaddleclub.com -

Where is the Redfield Saddle Club Horse Arena located?
Redfield Saddle Club shows are held at the RSC horse arena just south of the City of Redfield. Take Highway 6 to State Street. Turn South on G Trail. The entrance to the arena will be on your right hand side. -

What are the benefits of being a member of the Redfield Saddle Club?
Membership provides reduced show entry fees at RSC sponsored shows, a club newsletter every other month, and eligibility for year-end awards and the Queen contests. Members ride in the Old Settler's Celebration parade in Redfield each year. The Redfield Saddle Club members get together for two trail rides each year, some come for the day and some camp overnight. Each year we crown Junior and Senior Queens who represent the Redfield Saddle Club at the Iowa State Fair Cowgirl Queen Contest in August. (see membership form for rules and details) -

What horsemanship patterns are included in the Fun Shows?
Fun Shows held by the Redfield Saddle Club are designed with family fun as the goal. Halter Showmanship and Horsemanship patterns are short and designed to be competitive with limited time before the judge. There are new patterns for the 2010 show season. Please check our website at: www.redfieldsaddleclub.com for our patterns. The pattern selected will be annouced on the day of the show during check in.  -

Is there an early entry form for the Fun Shows?
Yes, there is an early entry form that is used for our Fun shows. This form allows participants to register without delays. For most of our Fun Shows the order of classes is the same. (Exceptions would be the the Dallas County Fair Show and the last show which is an all games show.) Please check our website (www.redfieldsaddleclub.com) to download your early entry form. -
