There are just six easy steps to join Iowa High School Rodeo Association:

1.   Complete your application for the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) (click here for Application Form).

______  CONTESTANT MUST SIGN THE FORM
______  BOTH parents and/or guardians must sign the form


2.   Complete NHSRA Minor’s Release (click here for form).

______  Complete entire form
______  CONTESTANT MUST SIGN THE FORM
______  BOTH parents and/or guardians must sign the form


3.   Complete Grade and Conduct Certification form.  (click here for Grade and Conduct Certification form).

______  School Principal or Superintendent must sign the form
______  Enclose a copy of your most recent report card
______  Complete Miscellaneous Information Section
______  Attach current photo


4.   Complete the events entry form (click here for Events Entry Form)

______  Check the events you wish to compete in
______  BOTH parents and/or guardians must sign the Events Entry Form


5.   Forward a copy of your birth certificate to the Iowa High School Rodeo Association’s Secretary (IHSRA) (new members only).


6.   Pay the annual IHSRA membership fee indicated on application form (payment may be made by check payable to IHSRA and mailed to the IHSRA Secretary).


7.   All the forms above should be completed and submitted to IHSRA's Recording Secretary by August 15^th.  You can find the current Recording Secretary's contact information here.

You will receive your competition number, national card, insurance information and rule book when you report for check in at your first rodeo!
